GHOST FOLK comes at the right time. To get ahead of the stereotype, escapism and fairy introspection are not Allysen's cup of tea. The spirits that beset us are in the here and now. Because ghosts are only the abstraction of the unreasonable everyday life. Campfire Tales and American Gothic, the howling of the werewolf in the shoreline behind the motel, Twilight Zone Folk, but also sinister ways of loss and too many cigarettes, isolation, driving at night and with November Man a hymn to Nick Drake, the king of those who to hide oneself.

Dedicated to the November Man Nick Drake and all the quiet ones.
